In the gallery...

We will be holding down the gallery Friday July 18, 12 to 5PM and again Sat July 19, 12 to 5.
Come by, hang out, dig the pix. We'll talk photography, filmmaking, art, music, farming as art, filmmaking as farming. We'll drink coffee (Dancing Goats is less than 100 ft away), bring wine, we don't mind.

And who knows, maybe you'll get something for that empty wall.

Other days/hours are on poster.

Hanging with the shooters...

We don't get to hang out with other photographers much.

When we're shooting, our days are spent with each other plus stylists (props, wardrobe, food), writers, field editors, photo editors, designers, property owners, clients, assistants, assistant assistants, location people, talent (adults, children, animals), wranglers (children, animals and their parents/owners). But other photographers? Not so much...

Oh, we might run into one picking up/dropping off gear at PPR but beyond that?

So the Wholesome Wave Georgia Farm To Frame event Friday evening was a real blast.
So many great photos; so many amazing photographers.

Thanks Sara Berney, Judith Winfrey, WWG

A Wholesome Wave Georgia Benefit

A group photo exhibit featuring 10 outstanding photographers on the subject of farming and farmers in Georgia will be at the Ponce City Market's Art Gallery in Atlanta during July.

We are honored to be included in this show and are contributing four never before seen images from our private collection taken during the filming of GROW!

On July 11th, a by invitation only Southern Chefs Potluck Pre-Party will be held in the gallery space to thank supporters of Wholesome Wave Georgia.  Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase the photography, with a percentage of the proceeds going to Wholesome Wave Georgia.

The exhibit will be up through July so the public can have the chance to view some extraordinary photographs and support Wholesome Wave Georgia by purchasing the works.

Ponce City Market's Art Gallery - 650 North Ave NE ATLANTA GA 30308

Coyote Man!

So how cool is this: last night, after shooting all day, we grabbed a bite and headed over to the Highlands Civic Center (NC) to hear Lisa's husband, Dr. Chris Mowry, give a talk on "Coyote Population Dynamics and Behavior in Urbansuburban Habitats" for the Highlands Plateau Audubon Society.

Doing what we want to do and doing what we didn't know we wanted to do.
