On assignment on Santa Rosa Island, Pensacola, FL., we woke up to a fogged in day. Looking out our hotel window on the 8th floor was like being in a cloud. Call time for the shoot was 9:30AM for us; it was just 7:45AM We looked at each other, grabbed the camera and headed out, driving east on the Via De Luna into a blinding whiteness.
On either side of us pure white sand dunes, the Gulf of Mexico just a hundreds yards away to the right but completely unseen, the dense fog enveloping us.
We parked and got the shots. Here is one of them.
Dec 12 2009.
